Tanzania & the wider region

Shaping tomorrow, today.

We partner with governments, utilities and communities to strengthen systems that perform, scale, and last.

The third alternative

Most challenges are met with two options: the status quo, or incremental reform. We partner with communities to reframe problems and co-create better alternatives, locally grounded, system-driven, and built to last.

What we do

Five connected areas of work

One belief runs through all of it: lasting change is built with communities, not for them.

🤝

Community Organizing

Partnering with communities to build the power, voice, and networks to lead their own change.

🌱

Enterprises & Livelihood

Enterprise-led solutions that turn local resources into lasting income.

🌍

Resilience & Climate

Partnering with communities to adapt to climate and livelihood shocks with local solutions.

🚀

Youth Leadership

Backing young people with the skills, tools, and platforms to lead change today.

⚙️

Systems & Policy

Improving how institutions and utilities perform, and moving reform into action.

Where we work

Rooted in Tanzania, working across the region

Our home is Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. We partner with national institutions and utilities such as DAWASA and RUWASA, and communities across East and Southern Africa.

We deliver alongside partners who share our commitment to systems that last:
